The Owl Centre Charity, registered in the UK as charity number 1191239, has been dedicated to assisting those in need since 2012. Our mission is to provide bespoke assessment and therapy training programs both in the UK and internationally. These programs are designed to support parents of children and young people with additional needs, and to empower and upskill local practitioners working with this demographic.
With nearly 400 clinicians working at The Owl Centre, the interventions we can deliver are high-quality and evidence-based.

Our specialties include Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy (OT) and Sensory Integration Support, Psychotherapy, Autism Advisory Teaching, Psychological Services, and medical expertise from Paediatricians and Psychiatrists.
Previously, The Owl Centre charity’s volunteers have worked in India and Vietnam. In these countries, we have partnered with local charities or stakeholders, and notably, our Vietnam program, in partnership with Saigon Children’s Charity, has been running successfully for over a decade.
Initially, we determine the local needs and the most relevant source of delivery to that community, and our Owl Centre therapists travel to the country to deliver these bespoke interventions.
In our recent project, in collaboration with Saigon Children’s Charity, six UK clinicians dedicated their time over three weeks annually for three years to train local Special Educational Needs (SEN) teachers working with autistic children in Vietnam.
Our goal was to train these teachers with a range of relevant and evidence-based interventions. While the clinicians volunteered their time, funding was independently sourced via a number of different means for their flights and accommodation.
The outcome for all involved has been substantial, with a contagious feel-good factor. The most profound impact is seen in the improved quality of life for the children and families we support.
