A neurodiversity screening appointment at The Owl Centre is a supportive and collaborative space to explore how you experience the world and whether traits associated with autism and/or ADHD may be part of that experience. The focus is on understanding you as a whole person, including your strengths, needs, differences, and the strategies you already use in everyday life.
Neurodiversity Screening Service
What happens during the screening?
During the neurodiversity screening session, we will talk about your life experiences, development, what you thrive in and what you may find challenging in areas such as attention, communication, sensory experiences, organisation, emotions, and relationships. You may also be invited to complete some screening questionnaires to help build a broader picture. There are no right or wrong answers, and you are encouraged to share what feels important to you.
It is an initial screening rather than a diagnosis and helps decide whether a full ADHD or autism assessment might be helpful, as well as identifying possible supports, adjustments, or next steps that could make daily life easier and more sustainable for you.
You will have time to ask questions, reflect on what feels relevant, and receive feedback in a way that is clear and respectful.
How much does it cost?
£250
(1 hour appointment)
If you choose to proceed to a full formal assessment following your screening, £100 will be deducted from the cost of your assessment.
