As a Speech and Language Therapist, I know a lot of teachers and teaching assistants, and speak to them often about the challenges they face in their classrooms.

We discuss things they have tried to support the children to access their learning, and a common theme coming up is dysregulation. Teachers and TAs want to know what they can do to help children who are struggling to become regulated and engaged.

As a Speech and Language Therapist, I love getting advice from my Occupational Therapy colleagues about how to help a child I work with be ready to learn. A child needs to be regulated to learn, and that includes learning in Speech and Language Therapy sessions.

This is why we have developed this webinar, to give education professionals ideas to create a calmer, more focused classroom. You may be trying some of these tips and tricks already, amazing! We hope to reassure you that you are putting the best strategies in place, we also hope to give you a new idea or two!

What you’ll take away:

  • Real-world classroom strategies
  • A deeper understanding of sensory and communication needs
  • Tools to promote inclusion and learning readiness

So please REGISTER HERE and if you can, come along to the live webinar we are holding on Tuesday 13th May at 4pm. If you cannot attend, we can send you the recording. Perhaps this will make a perfect addition to your staff meeting or training session soon?
